Each year thousands of schools, organizations, and individuals prepare and donate shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, personal items and other small gifts. All to be distributed overseas to underprivileged children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster and disease.
Here at Chadwick’s HQ we’ve been prompted into action by the Samaritan’s Purse ‘Operation Christmas Child’ campaign and Ellie, our sales coordinator extraordinaire. Collecting donations, packing and sending gift-filled shoeboxes for those children around the world in need of some joy this Christmas time.

Now the world’s largest children’s Christmas project, Operation Christmas Child encourages children and adults from across the UK to wrap, pack and fill around 1 million shoeboxes with gifts each year!
These unconditional gifts, given to any child regardless of race or religion, may not solve all their life’s struggles but do offer a huge amount of joy, hope and happiness to all that receive them.
Thanks to Ellie’s hard work and everyone’s generous contributions we have smashed our target of £125, raising £219 including the value of gifts donated. This has meant that we have been able to send out 17 shoeboxes filled to the brim with presents to children all over the world. A fantastic start to our contribution towards such a great cause.
