The ongoing conflict in the Middle East has placed significant strain on global freight networks and fuel supplies for many in the industry. The region is central to both energy production and key shipping routes. Disruptions, whether direct (damage, blockades, or attacks) or indirect (heightened security risks and rerouting), have increased the cost and complexity of moving stock internationally, especially from Asia and the Far East to Europe.

Overall as we stand today, we have strong stock levels in our main UK warehouse as we hold stock all-year round. We are aware some of our containers already on the water have been delayed. However, we feel at the moment these delays, whilst frustrating, are manageable.

It’s true to say the conflict has caused an immediate spike in raw material costs due to rising oil and container prices, and the longer the war goes on the more likely issues may arise in the coming months. However, we are hopeful that these raised costs are a knee-jerk reaction which will settle, and we are not planning on any price adjustments in the short to medium-term.

We will continue to inform our customers of any updates or potential impacts on the wider import/export market.

A new addition to our popular Kinetic Range, the 111 hoodie is available in 11 colourways. This expanded palette makes it easier to mix and match existing Kinetic/Edge garments or build full teamwear packages.

The hoodie is made from 260gsm full dull polyester face with heavy brushed back, the same fabric as our 874 Edge Pro Poly Hoodie and 948 Kinetic Track Top ensuring better uniformity across our Edge and Kinetic ranges.

As with the rest of our range, the design includes a technical 3D cationic melange effect fabric on the shoulder panels, colour insert details, and “Kinetic” contrast colour rubber print details on the sleeve and side.

With premium quality ribbed cuffs and an open hem, this style provides a modern athletic fit with improved comfort and movement.

Bulk stock is landing at the end of March.

“This years P&P was an awesome show. The best one yet. Really, really busy and we literally met up with hundreds and hundreds of customers old and new.” beamed Sales Director Tim Roberts.

This year’s show was an exciting one for us at Chadwick Teamwear. On top of showcasing our full Kinetic, Edge, iGEN, Radial, Pro, Tech Core and Core ranges, we were delighted to showcase a number of new products.

“We were thrilled to showcase a number of new garments, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Benefitting from innovative designs and high-quality fabrics, they look set to make a significant impact in the world of teamwear, training wear and schoolwear.” continued Tim.

The latest new products we launched at P&P

New to the Tech Core range this year are our 980 Chevron Puffer Jacket, a premium thermal 987 Chevron Puffer Coat and premium thermal team 993 Chevron Gilet which all feature contemporary designs.

Adding to the Core range is our weatherproof 971 Apex Quilted Jacket and a new functional kit and travel bag, our 956 Hybrid Holdall.

Our Kinetic range has grown with the introduction of our new functional and stylish 931 Tech Polo and our ever popular iGEN range now includes a new multipurpose 965 Showerproof Jacket and 967 Technical Tee made from 100% recycled polyester.
